Summer 2009 in Bajardo

The accomodation is very comfortable despite being very rustic. The views are breathtaking. The immediate surroundings (terrace, little winding alley ways etc) are absolutely lovely.

The village and people in it are very charming. The food in the village restaurants (especially the first on the left as you go down) was absolutely delicious.

Arrigo, Michael, Max and Jimmy are all very friendly and helpful. The other guests we met were also very pleasant.

My son who is ten had no other children for company but was never bored due to the attention he received from everyone around! And he did a lot of reading and drawing and we enjoyed just spending time together as a family. He is looking forward to working there during the summer when he is older!

We explored other villages around as well as going to the beach. But still saw less than half of what we thought we would.

Ten days was just not long enough!!

I am sure I have forgotten to mention a million other things but in short it was the perfect holiday!

We visit a retreat with a view last summer. And it was such a nice time. Do you have space for us in week no. 30? Last year we stayed in apartment no. 7…It was fantastic.
I was in Baiardo few years ago with a friend, a photographer who came back and have a seminars with students from Barcelona. I always wanted to come and spend time there, also long time…it is such an inspiring place.

Thanks for all your help – we had such a lovely time. Sure we will be back next year.
