Travel to Bajardo

The closest airports are:

Nice Cote D’Azur, France

Genoa (Genova), Italy

When you arrive at either Nice or Genoa airport it is simple to get to Baiardo.

Using Public Transport:

There are regular shuttle buses to the train stations, which take about 20 minutes. From both Nice Ville train station and Genoa Piazza Principe train station there are regular trains to San Remo.

Travelling from Nice, there are a few direct services, otherwise you will need to change at Ventimiglia.

Below are a couple of links for train times, I find the first one the easiest to navigate.

Nice airport has a great website with lots of useful travel information, including shuttle bus and train timetables (Access, maps and car parks). See the Mandelieu – Grasse – Nice – Vintimille (Ventimiglia) timetable for trains towards San Remo. Then from Ventimiglia the train to San Remo takes around 15 minutes and times for these trains can be found using either of the websites below.

Daily there are 5 buses in each direction between San Remo and Baiardo (Bajardo). The journey takes just under an hour, and the last bus departs from San Remo Bus Station at 18:36 with Baiardo as the final stop.

Click here for a bus timetable San Remo Guide enter from: San Remo Piazza Colombo to Bajardo Cap.

Car Hire:

Baiardo is 48 miles (77 km) from Nice Airport and by car the journey should take 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Baiardo is 100 miles (161 km) from Genoa (Genova) and by car the journey should take 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

The road ends in the centre of Baiardo village, there isn’t an official car park but plenty of road side space.
